Halloween Gallery #7: Butcher Bill

Note: This image may be a bit too gory for young children.

As you may have guessed, there's not much to the Halloween Gallery this year. I meant to have much more this year, but recent family problems have kind cut down on my creative time and energy. But, I don't want to leave your treat bags empty this year, so I present my latest, and darkest Halloween Gallery image yet...
Butcher Bill!

Butcher Bill, is my take on the "Slasher Villain" archetype. As you can see he wears a bloody "Kiss the Cook" apron (hence the name). And, since no "Slasher" is complete without a creepy but pointless mask, Bill dons a rusty welder's mask (hey, it's no more random than a hockey mask, or a William Shatner mask).

And, of course I have a whole line of merchandise on my Cafépress store featuring Butcher Bill: http://www.cafepress.com/bobthepumpkinsorcerer/10635904 .

So, until next time, Happy Halloween!

Halloween Gallery #6: A Sweet Defeat

Hello everyone, I know I've been absent from the site for awhile. The comic book and some family issues have kept me away. But, I'm back and here to kick off the 2013 Halloween season with a new edition of my Halloween Gallery!

This comic will be very familiar to those who were kind enough to visit my table way back in Nippon Con. It's an excerpt from my upcoming comic book, Amusing Tales #1. Consider it a sneak preview.

Rest assured that I'm working hard on the full book (it will be 36 pages, full color), and I've got plenty of surprises in store for the book, the Halloween Gallery, and more!

As you can see I just couldn't resist doing a spoof of a certain classic ad series...

Box-Bot Boogie #10: The Alien Part 2

And, the legend continues...

I'd also like to announce that Amusing Tales #1 is nearing completion! It's is the full version of the sneak peek comic mentioned in this post. I'll of course be posting more details when it's finished.

Box-Bot Boogie #9: The Alien Part 1

It's been another two weeks and it's time for another Box-Bot Boogie!

I think this is the first time in Box-Bot Boogie that I've introduced a new character besides the Box-Bots themselves. So I hope you've enjoyed this historic event! Come back in two weeks for part 2!

Box-Bot Boogie #8: Joke Gum

Another two weeks, another Box-Bot Boogie...

This one had some challenges. The "opening illustration" took forever to draw. And, my use of Photoshop to copy elements from panel 1 into panel 6 turned out to be a huge pain in the neck. I really should have just redrew those from scratch.

Box-Bot Boogie #7: Bad Movie

Got a new batch of Box-Bot Boogie strips, starting with this one! Amusing Tales #1 is still in the works, look for it later this Summer, and I've got a few more long awaited surprises. In the meantime, enjoy this...

Convention Announcement

Hello everyone! I know I haven't posted in a couple months, but I have a couple big announcements.

First of all, this Saturday I'll be at Nippon-Con, in the artist alley. Where I'll be selling prints of my Box-Bot Boogie comics, and  something special...

Dammit, I just realized it should be "Sneak peek". Too late now, it's printed
This brings me to my second announcement, a new comic book series, Amusing Tales. It's an anthology comic with each issue containing new chapters of some running series, and a few stand-alone stories. It's still in the works right now, but for only $0.75 Nippon-Con goers will be able to buy this special "sneak peak" mini-comic! This is a special preview featuring two new stories.

So if you can make it to McDaniel College in Westminster MD this Saturday, make sure to come by my table and check it out!

Box-Bot Boogie #6: Cellphones These Days

Box-Bot Boogie is back, everyone! Though, it might be updated less frequently for awhile. This is because I have a lot of other projects in the works, many of which are in preparation for Nippon-Con, where I'll be found in the artist alley!

I hope everyone had a nice holiday season, and a great January. Now, enjoy!
